Micah 5:2 JPS
(2) (5:1) But thou, Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from ancient days.
Micah 5:2 concerns Jesus. Meditate om the origins of Jesus.
And behold! You will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus. Luke 1:31 KJ3
because today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord, was born to you in the city of David. Luke 2:11 KJ3
for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me. John 6:38 KJ3
And crying with a loud voice, Jesus said, Father, “into Your hands I commit My spirit.” And saying this, He expired. Psa. 31:5 Luke 23:46 KJ3
He is not here, for He was raised, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying. Matthew 28:6 KJ3
... and no one knows who the Son is if not the Father; and who is the Father, if not the Son, and he to whom the Son may desire to reveal Him. Luke 10:22 KJ3
And behold! You will conceive in your womb and bear a Son, and you will call His name Jesus.
So, The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold! The virgin will conceive and will bear a son; and she shall call His name Immanuel.
“Behold, The virgin will have a babe in her womb and will bear a son, and they will call His name Emmanuel” (which translated is, God with us). Isa. 7:14
because today a Savior, who is Christ the Lord [aka YHWH], was born to you in the city of David.
and coming to be found in figure as a man, He humbled Himself, coming to be obedient until death, even the death of a cross. (9) Because of this also God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every name, (10) that at the name of Jesus “every knee should bow,” of heavenly beings, and earthly beings, and under the earth beings, (11) and “every tongue should confess” that Jesus Christ is “Lord,” to the glory of God the Father. Isa. 45:23.
The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not stone you for a good work, but for blasphemy, and because you, being a man, make yourself God [YHWH]. John 10:33 MKJV
You have heard the blasphemy; what do you think? And they all condemned Him to be guilty of death. Mark 14:64 MKJV
Jesus was killed not because He made Hinself 'a' god, as He is seen today by a subgroup of Christianity, but because in Judaism He made Himself God who is YHWH, the Creator in Genesis (John 1).
YHWH cannot be translated in any language. In English, the word that refers to YHWH is 'the LORD or Lord'. In John 13:13, Jesus acquiesces to be YHWH.
